Information on the Tampa Bay Area
Whether you are looking for a great one bedroom condo in the heart of a big city, or a large
family home with a quiet cul-de-sac for your children to play in, the Tampa Bay Area has a home
for you. This great city has so much to offer from the arts, sports, shopping and all the
luxurious amenities you could want. It also has the charming streets and homes people are
searching for.
Off Bayshore Blvd in Tampa you can find gorgeous homes with beautiful views and old world charm.
On Harbour Island, condominiums with waterfront sights and a close walk to downtown Tampa attract
residents. Families flock to Westchase for its comfortable atmosphere, quiet streets, neighborhood
shops, golfing and even schools. It is a community within itself. There are homes in this area to
attract everyone! And as you will see, there are great deals to be found in any of the areas in Tampa Bay.
There are many great places to work in this area as well. Downtown Tampa is a large business district
with many surrounding opportunities as well. There are two airports to support air travel. The Tampa
International Airport is a large airport with great rates to many non-stop destinations in other major
cities. The St. Petersburg Airport is smaller in size, but has great rates for some of the smaller
airlines and passengers avoid some of the larger crowds at TIA.
If you enjoy sports, Tampa Bay is the place to be. There are great golf courses such as Westchase,
Lansbrook and Innisbrook to challenge even the best golfers. Fishing is a year round sport here with
great hot spots in the Tampa Bay and on the other side of the bridge in the Gulf of Mexico near St.
Petersburg and Clearwater. Charter a boat or take your own watercraft and catch great snook,
grouper or a redfish. Pinellas County even has a great fresh water lake in Lake Tarpon to
tantalize those who love non-saltwater fishing. If playing sports isn’t your thing, don’t worry.
Tampa Bay has championship sports teams that are fun to watch. The Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay
Buccaneers, Stanley Cup Tampa Bay Lightning, and in St. Petersburg the Devil Rays baseball team has
home field advantage. There are also minor league teams that play in Dunedin and Clearwater that are
fun to take the kids to at an affordable price.
We couldn't talk about Tampa without speaking of the shopping! With great locations to choose from
such as The International Mall, Westshore Mall, Brandon and Citrus Town Center’s and Ellington Outlet
Mall, it’s easy to see why so many large retail chains are located here. You can visit Tiffany’s,
Abercrombie, Hollister, Neiman Marcus and Louis Vuitton with just a short drive to one of these
locations. And if you prefer outdoor shopping, Hyde Park is filled with great stores in a quaint
shopping area complete with indoor and outdoor dining and brick roads to give that small town shopping
experience.
You may be thinking, this all sounds great, but what can I do for fun? With theme parks such as
Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, The Lowry Park Zoo and Florida Aquarium, there is so much to see
and do, you’ll just have to find the time! And if you’re looking for a great night life, Ybor City,
Baystreet at International Plaza and Channelside in Tampa have live music, energetic bars and great
DJs to give hours of enjoyment to its patrons. Like Channelside, Baywalk in St. Petersburg is
an outdoor strip where you can hear the live music and enjoy the fresh air while visiting with friends.
Everyone knows that Florida has wonderful beaches and the Tampa Bay area is no exception! In Pinellas
County, St. Petersburg, Treasure Island and Clearwater beaches are the most popular. With their miles of white sand beaches, these locations offer great seafood dining, condominiums with panoramic views,
charter fishing and jet ski rentals and tons of activities for the whole family to enjoy. There are
many historic hotels in these locations as well such as the Don Cesar and Vinoy Resorts. These enormous
hotels have old world charm with modern touches to make them a dream destination getaway. They are
beautiful inside and out, and residents and visitors flock to them each year.
As you can see, Tampa Bay has so much to offer. Great business opportunities, a
booming real estate market, fun nightlife and wonderful residents. With so much
to offer, you should check it out for yourself. Your next home could be on the
market right now and we are waiting to hear from you!
